An intro to Kanban
Kanbans are widely used in a professional setting because of their simplicity, flexibility and effectiveness. As it happens, they are also a great way to manage your own tasks.
What is Kanban?
If you're not familiar with the word "Kanban", it might sound more complex than it is. A Kanban is a visual way to manage your tasks: a board with columns (buckets) for each stage of your task. You can add cards to the board, and move them around as you work on them to track your progress.
A simple and effective setup is a board with three buckets:
- To Do
- In Progress
- Done
The benefits of Kanban

How to get started

- Find the "To Do" bucket in the tasks section of the dashboard.
- Add any other cards you want to work on.

Best practice guidelines
- Limit your work in progress to avoid context switching and focus on one task at a time.
- Use the concept of feedback loops. On a frequent basis review your board and identify what has gone well, what went wrong, and what you can improve.
- Start small and simple.
